About the writer and editor

Yaacov Mishori has served as a principal French-Horn player with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra for nearly 40 years, and has also been a member of its management for 18 years.  He has written several books and numerous articles about music, education and culture. Mr. Mishori has taught music at Tel Aviv University's Academy of Music, and is the host of a popular weekly radio show  "Fun with the Classics".
